Day 16 of the Ultimate Home Workout: Burn Fat and Boost Your Fitness

You’re halfway through Svava Sigbertsdottir’s 30-day fat-burning home workout challenge! Day 16 doesn’t require any equipment. Let’s jump into it.

Today’s moves include sumo squats, high planks into downward dog, and side planks. These exercises have a twist to make you really sweat. Make sure you control each movement to get a real burn in your core, building strength and stamina. Svava says if it was easy, you wouldn’t engage your core as much. It needs to be challenging to get that toned body you’re aiming for.

When you start to feel tired, remember to open up your chest and keep breathing deeply instead of falling forward to catch your breath. Keeping your chest open will improve your breathing and keep you going.
