You’re now halfway through Svava Sigbertsdottir’s 30-day fat-burning home workout challenge! Day 16 doesn’t require any equipment, so let’s dive in.
Today’s exercises include sumo squats, high planks into downward dog, and side planks—all with a twist to really get you sweating. To get the maximum benefit, control each movement to feel the burn in your core, building strength and stamina. If it feels too easy, then your core isn’t working hard enough, and you won’t achieve that toned body you’re after.
When you start to feel tired, keep your chest open instead of falling forward. This will help you breathe better. Stay focused, and keep going.
Here’s the plan for today:
– 10 minutes total
– Five moves
– Two sets
– Do each move for 40 seconds, followed by 20 seconds of rest
– Repeat the whole sequence once more
